How to manage schemes

Now that you've created your first schemes, here's how to organize, edit, and maintain them properly.

List of schemes

On the Schemes page, you'll see a list of all your schemes and drafts.

Hover your cursor over any scheme to view a pop-up with its type and version number.

To the left of each scheme name, you’ll see one of these status icons:

  • Pencil – Draft (not yet activated)
  • Gray circle – Scheme is disabled
  • Green circle – Scheme is active

Managing schemes

You can organize your schemes by creating folders and sorting schemes into them (see Sidebar for more on folders).

A Red arrow indicates high-priority – bookings linked to this scheme will be processed first.

To move a scheme into a folder:

Click the three dots (⋮) next to the scheme’s status icon, then drag and drop it into the desired folder.

Columns explained
  • GDS: The reservation system the scheme works with
  • Active: Number of items currently being processed (e.g., PNRs or documents not marked as Complete – may be in Pause or Repeat state)
  • Modified: Shows the date, time, and author of the most recent change. Hover to also see when and by whom the scheme was created.
  • Status: Displays whether the scheme is active or disabled. You can toggle it on/off directly from this column.

Before disabling a scheme, check the Active column. If bookings are still being processed, the deactivation may not complete. Manual action will be required (see System monitoring).

Comments

At the end of each scheme row, there’s an Add comment icon.

You can use comments to describe the logic or intent behind the workflow – helpful for collaboration.

Click Add timestamp to automatically insert the current date, time, and user info into your note.

Actions menu

Click the three dots (⋮) at the end of a scheme row to open the Actions menu.

From here, you can:

  • Scheme history: View the editing history of the scheme
  • Clone: Create an identical copy (including properties and components)
  • Move to folder: Relocate the scheme into a folder from the sidebar
  • Download: Export the scheme in .json format for backup or sharing
  • Archive: Move the scheme to the Archived schemes folder. You can restore it anytime.
  • Delete: Permanently remove the scheme or draft

Final tips
  • Use clear, consistent naming for schemes to make them easy to search and filter
  • Add comments as internal documentation – especially for shared workflows
  • Archive rather than delete schemes you may need again
  • Keep an eye on status icons and the Active column to avoid processing conflicts
